The construction of the Miller House took 4 years to complete.The construction began in 1954 and ended in 1957.

From 1954-1957, design decisions outside of the mid-century modernism concept was made. The Roman additions from the Millers trip not only adds personalization but it expands the notion of the home being strict to mid-century modernism.
